Kids enjoying clean outdoor air
A clean-air project fromyour school

Children breathe ~50% more air per kg than adults.

We monitor every classroom so we know when to ventilate.

Your school project page is ready

Welcome, your school, to your SchoolAir project hub.

Students build real air-quality infrastructure that helps protect classrooms and outdoor play areas from unhealthy air. Use the Administer Page to configure thresholds, manage data access, and customise this page.

Step 1 Acquire first exterior sensor
Step 2 — anytime, even before Step 1
Step 3 — if needed, the school can purchase directly Purchase additional sensors

The first sensor gives the school a simple "open windows / keep closed" signal. Sponsored classroom sensors carry the family's name on the plaque underneath.

Let's help keep the air healthy in classrooms and exterior areas — so that our children may perform at their best!

Two kinds of sensor protect a school: an outdoor station that watches the air around the recess areas, sports fields, etc., and a classroom flower that visibly wilts when a room needs fresh air. Consider sponsoring one of each to get your school going quickly. Kids love building the modular interior kit and watching the flower move when excessive dust or CO₂ is detected; the outdoor unit is the workhorse.

Sponsor a classroom sensor — keep your children healthy and keen to learn.

See the classroom flower

Students build it; the whole class watches it. The flower stands up in clean air and wilts when a room needs ventilating.

How the kit goes together, in one minute. Build guide →

In a busy classroom: the flower warns the teacher to ventilate, or tells the air conditioning to work harder.

Join a cost-sharing Rally for a new sensor Ongoing rallies — status

A parent picks a classroom, pledges €10+ toward a €95 sensor, and invites other parents to chip in. When the goal is reached the school gets the sensor; if it doesn't, everyone is refunded automatically after 60 days.
